I went down to Oakland last night to see Jeff Mangum. I wasn’t sure what to expect but, oh my god. Anyway I recorded this on my iPhone. At about 5:30, picture a couple of horn players walking onstage very slowly after he had played 4 or 5 songs entirely alone.

In 2012, I’m going to be more organized, and buy less crap I don’t need at thrift stores. Thankfully, I found a Dymo label maker at Goodwill the other day (originally valued at $59.60) for a mere $1.99 and am now labeling things in order to be more organized. I’ve labeled one box “blank journals” so far. I’m not sure what else to label.
I’m also going to get a haircut in 2012 because I did not get one in 2011.
